Hofkirchen, Upper Austria – Union Hofkirchen an der Trattnach has opted for efficient LED technology from SmartArena for the renewal of their floodlight system. The new installation offers a lighting strength of 180 lux and a light temperature of 3000 Kelvin, leading to improved visibility and uniform illumination of the playing field. The achieved uniformity values of 0.78 (G1) and 0.59 (G2) meet high sporting standards.
The project was realized through a successful collaboration between technology partners SmartArena and LIGHTMAX. “The club took on many tasks themselves, allowing for cost savings. We explained the installation process to the club and ultimately illuminated the playing field,” explains Markus Offenzeller, Managing Director of LIGHTMAX. This modernization demonstrates Union Hofkirchen an der Trattnach’s commitment to improving their sports infrastructure.
For the inauguration of the new lighting, the club posted on Facebook on November 19, 2023: “Let there be light! 💡☀️ After our long-serving floodlights slowly but surely gave up the ghost and were far from the latest technology, it was time for new lighting. Just in time for the last training session, we were able to inaugurate our new floodlights! 🥳🎉” Union Hofkirchen is thus perfectly equipped with the new and modern floodlight system from SmartArena for future sporting events.
