Langschlag, Lower Austria – The UFC Lok Langschlag started the construction of a new floodlight system with the aim of creating optimal lighting conditions for matches and training sessions. Together with store and more GmbH and SmartArena – and thanks to a considerable amount of personal effort – the club was able to successfully implement the project. The modern LED floodlight system from SmartArena now symbolizes the future-oriented expansion of the club’s infrastructure.
The requirements for the project were clearly defined: The soccer pitch was to be equipped with lighting that was suitable for competitions, powerful and energy-efficient at the same time. The decision was made in favor of a COB LED floodlight solution with 200 lux illuminance. For uniform light distribution, the system is based on a four-mast solution with a light point height of 18 meters. For even more flexibility, the club also opted for the energy-efficient Switch Dim control system. This intelligent lighting control system allows the light intensity to be adjusted to suit the situation, thus ensuring ideal conditions on the pitch.
The high level of personal involvement by the club was particularly impressive during the construction of the floodlights. From organizational preparations to construction work, officials and club members took on many tasks with impressive commitment. SmartArena supported the UFC Lok Langschlag at all levels – from lighting planning to technical implementation.
