Oberndorf, Lower Austria – The sports club SV Reifen Weichberger Oberndorf can look forward to a new COB LED floodlight system from SmartArena, that illuminates the training ground in a whole new light. The new system impresses with a light intensity of 200 lux and complies with lighting class II. Thanks to the integration of Switch Dim technology, the light intensity can be flexibly adjusted so that the club can choose between full power and energy-saving lighting as required. The reduction in connected load is particularly impressive: the system has been optimized from an original 32 kilowatts to just 15.5 kilowatts – an energy saving of more than fifty percent!
The new floodlight system is based on four poles with a light point height of 18 meters. This illuminates the playing field evenly and without glare, creating ideal conditions for training and games.
The project was successfully implemented in close cooperation with store and more GmbH and electrics and more Elektromontagen GmbH. This combination of planning, technology, and implementation has resulted in the sports club now having a modern, future-proof facility that combines efficiency and sustainability.
For the SV Reifen Weichberger Oberndorf, this investment not only means a significant reduction in operating costs, but also a marked improvement in training conditions for all age groups. At the same time, with the new floodlight system, the club is making an important contribution to environmental protection and putting its infrastructure on a sustainable footing for the long term.
