Gutenbrunn, Lower Austria – The ASV Gutenbrunn sports club has set an important milestone for the future by modernizing its sports field infrastructure and investing in a modern, high-quality LED floodlight system from SmartArena. The existing infrastructure was used and converted for the new sports field lighting. This project was implemented by the store and more GmbH, the club in close cooperation with a local electrical company, and the SmartArena team. The aim was to install a high-quality floodlight system that impresses with its quality, durability, cost-efficiency, and sustainability.
The club decided to comprehensively modernize both its competition and training grounds. The main pitch was equipped with lighting at an intensity of 200 lux. With a total of six masts at a light point height of 16 meters, the pitch now shines in perfect, homogeneous light.
The training ground was also modernized and, with 150 lux, offers ideal conditions for the athletes. Here, four masts with a light point height of 14 meters ensure uniform illumination and a safe, professional atmosphere.
Both fields were additionally equipped with a Switch Dim control system. Thanks to this intelligent control system, the light intensity can be flexibly adjusted to suit any occasion and lighting situation. This sustainable solution reduces energy consumption and saves costs.
The advantages of the new floodlight system are immediately apparent. Players benefit from significantly improved visibility, taking training sessions and competitive matches to a whole new level. At the same time, modern COB LED technology ensures significantly lower energy consumption and a considerable reduction in maintenance and operating costs. This means that the club benefits not only in sporting terms, but also economically and ecologically.
But the modernization goes beyond purely sporting benefits. A sports field is always a central meeting place for club members and the local community. With the new facility, the ASV Gutenbrunn has created a place that stands for professionalism, sustainability, and progress. It’s not just a place to play soccer; it’s a space that strengthens the community, shapes the future, and shows what responsible behavior in sports can look like.
