Hainburg an der Donau, Lower Austria – The FK Hainburg has taken a big and important step towards modern sports infrastructure. A new LED floodlight system from SmartArena has been put into operation on the club’s grounds, which is impressive both in terms of sports and technology.
The smart floodlight system provides an illuminance of 200 lux at a color temperature of 3000 Kelvin – ideal conditions for training and matches. With a light point height of 15 meters, the new technology was installed directly on the existing masts.
A special highlight is the integrated Switch Dim technology: it allows flexible adjustment of the light intensity depending on the situation – from energy-efficient training to maximum illumination for games.
The project also brings significant benefits for the immediate neighborhood. As the soccer field is located in the middle of a residential area, reducing light pollution was a key concern. Modern COB LED technology now ensures targeted illumination of the playing field and significantly less stray light – a massive improvement for local residents.
In addition, the new system offers a number of technical advantages:

In addition to its technical equipment, the location also impresses with its special backdrop: the square offers an impressive view of the nearby city of Bratislava.
The project was realized through the collaboration of experienced partners: SmartArena, store and more GmbH, and electrics and more Elektromontagen GmbH. Together, they successfully implemented the new facility and set another milestone for regional soccer.
