Sportpark Kematen in Tyrol is shining in a new light, thanks to the innovative LED floodlight system from SmartArena. The new lighting system was planned and tendered in close collaboration with the renowned company ISM – Baumeister Ing. Martin Staggl – to elevate the lighting of Sportpark to a new level.
What makes our installation so special?
A Breath of Fresh Air for the Artificial Turf Pitch: The completely renovated artificial turf pitch is equipped with an impressive 4-mast system. The average illuminance of 225 lux guarantees exceptional uniformity of 0.80/0.65. This creates a top-notch playing experience, both for spectators and players, complying with Class II – EN 12193 standards.
Tennis Court Revolution: Four tennis courts have been upgraded from metal halide lamps to LED and elevated to Class I – EN 12193. With an average illuminance of over 500 lux, these courts set new standards for tennis players.
Volleyball Fun in the Spotlight: For all volleyball enthusiasts, there’s a brand-new beach volleyball court with an average illuminance of 300 lux on average. This court is illuminated by a single mast and promises hours of fun.
Focus on Energy Efficiency:
Our entire installation is dimmable, providing not only a pleasant atmosphere but also significant energy savings. We seamlessly switch between training and match modes to ensure that players always have optimal lighting.
Environmentally Friendly and Resident-Friendly:
Our installation meets all requirements for neighbor and environmental protection according to the ÖNORM O 1052 “Light Emissions,” EN 12193 “Light and Lighting – Sports Lighting,” and the guidelines of the Tyrolean Environmental Ombudsman.
