Lower Austria, Tulln – By installing a new LED floodlight system at its artificial turf training field, FC Tulln is investing in a modern, energy-efficient, and future-proof lighting solution. For the project, the club opted for a custom-designed floodlight system from SmartArena, which offers compelling technical and economic advantages thanks to a custom-engineered single-pole system.
The project focused on a lighting design tailored to local conditions. The single-mast system significantly reduced the construction effort compared to a conventional floodlight system. Fewer foundations, fewer masts, and less installation work resulted in a cost-effective solution without compromising on light quality or the standard-compliant illumination of the training field.
The system utilizes SmartArena’s proven COB LED technology, which ensures exceptionally uniform illumination, high light quality, and absolutely no flicker. As a result, players benefit from optimal visibility during training, while energy consumption and operating costs are sustainably reduced. The precise light control also minimizes stray light and helps reduce light pollution outside the sports facility.
