In summer 2022, the football pitch in the Lower Austrian market town of Hinterbrühl was upgraded with a completely new LED floodlighting system from Smart Arena. The 4-mast system has a light intensity of 200 lux. Due to its location in the town and out of consideration for the neighbouring residents, the system was equipped with a shading system.
ASV Hinterbrühl is a popular training club with junior teams in every age group. The club plays in the 2nd class east/centre. On 26.8.2022, the new LED floodlighting system was officially put into operation for the first championship home game of the season. SG Gießhübel/Hinterbrühl won 4:0 against Mitterndorf.
