Located in the middle of the built-up area of Guntramsdorf, it was particularly important for the GTV Guntramsdorf to reduce light immissions to a minimum. Thanks to the innovative DLC shading system from SmartArena, glare effects could be reduced to a maximum. The new LED floodlights provide ideal lighting conditions on the tennis courts and also contribute to a sustainable use of the facility.

 
Members and players of the GTV Guntramsdorf benefit from optimal lighting conditions, which provide perfect conditions for both training sessions and competitions. The energy-efficient spotlights also significantly reduce power consumption, which saves the club long-term costs. Special thanks go to Intelli-Light for the successful joint realization of this project. The GTV Guntramsdorf has brought the tennis center up to date with the new floodlight system.

The lighting systems ensure uniform illumination of the tennis courts with a color temperature of 3000 Kelvin and a light intensity of 300 LUX. This guarantees ideal conditions for players and spectators. Thanks to the DLC system (“Direct Light Control”) optimum glare protection is guaranteed with minimal light emission.

 
In cooperation with our professional partners, store and more GmbH and electrics and more Elektromontagen GmbH, this project was successfully implemented. Together we were able to create an innovative lighting solution that meets the highest demands and significantly improves the playing conditions on the tennis courts. The TC Traiskirchen is thus equipped for the future and can play many exciting matches under optimal lighting conditions.

In the ice arena 80 SmartArena Tera Gen3r with 4000K were installed. The connection power was reduced to 24kW, which not only leads to a significant reduction in energy costs, but also to a reduction in CO2 emissions. The use of energy-efficient LED lights has also reduced light emissions.

A further 60 SmartArena Tera Gen3r with 4000K were installed in the multi-purpose hall, reducing the power consumption to 18kW. The lighting system also impresses with its outstanding uniformity of light distribution. Both sports facilities now comply with Class I – EN 12193. In both cases, upgrading to a SmartArena lighting system not only has economic benefits, but also leads to an increase in efficiency – in addition to positive aspects for our environment. The new lighting has created an impressive atmosphere for athletes and visitors at both venues.

The innovative DALI control allows for stepless dimming of the lighting. To meet the requirements of international competitions, national contests, and intensive training sessions, three different switching levels have been programmed. However, the settings can also be adjusted individually at any time.

The retrofitting was successfully completed in just one week in collaboration with a local electrical company. The result is a uniform light distribution that meets the highest standards and also represents an energy-efficient solution for ASVÖ Styria.

SmartArena is proud to be able to elevate the sports infrastructure at ASVÖ Styria in Graz to a new level with this modern hall lighting. This is an important investment in the future of sports.

Until recently, Union VTA Rottenbach used a conventional floodlight system on their training ground, which they have now modernized and equipped with the SmartArena Tera Gen3r series. Compared to the conventional system, the light intensity has been increased from 38 lux to approximately 150 lux, while simultaneously reducing light pollution.

A unique feature in Rottenbach is that the masts have a relatively low height of 14 meters. “Considering that the light is now many times brighter, the glare is limited, despite the very low masts,” says club chairman Alfons Kocher, delighted with the result, as it creates an absolutely player-friendly light on the field. With the new floodlight system from SmartArena, the football club is well-equipped for its sporting future.
