Bright future for the Hegauer FV – SmartArena brings light into the game

Engen, Baden-Württemberg – The Hegauer FV Engen-Welschingen-Binningen e.V. has taken a significant step towards modern sports infrastructure: With the installation of a state-of-the-art LED floodlight system from SmartArena, the club not only meets the current requirements of the Württemberg Football Association (wfv), but also focuses on sustainability, energy efficiency and perfect lighting quality.

The project involved the installation of a high-performance COB LED floodlight system with an illuminance of 200 lux for the entire sports area of the Hegauer FV. The system was designed with the individual requirements of the soccer club in mind and covers both the competition and training pitches so that players can train and play in the best possible conditions. Together with the planning office BW PartG under the direction of Mr. Abel Barderas and the executing company Elektro Zepf, a tailor-made solution was developed that meets the highest standards (DIN EN 12193 – Class II) and thus the specifications of the wfv in the association and national league.

The floodlight system impresses with its unrivaled uniformity of light distribution, minimal light immissions and is absolutely flicker-free. Thanks to modern, long-lasting LED technology, energy consumption and maintenance costs are also significantly reduced – making the new system sustainable and cost-efficient.

The soccer club, which was founded in 2007, has thus made an important investment in the future. The Hegauer FV stands for passion, team spirit and sporting ambition and unites different generations as well as men and women. With the new lighting from SmartArena, the course has been set for a successful sporting future for the club.
