Schärding, Upper Austria – The ATSV HandyShop.at Schärding has opted for a modern floodlight system from SmartArena for its sports ground, using innovative COB LED technology. The compact TERA Gen3r series is cost-efficient, sustainable and glare-free – and is produced in Austria. The new lighting system was installed together with the Illumina – Licht & Service GmbH, a reliable and experienced partner of SmartArena.
The sports club’s training ground has been equipped with 100 lux lighting, creating ideal conditions for evening training sessions. The competition pitch is also partially illuminated for training purposes – although the lighting in this case does not meet the standards for official competitions. This solution is particularly cost-efficient and, with a total output of 11.6 kW, provides optimum illumination for training sessions in the evening.
The 3000 K warm white light creates a pleasant atmosphere on the pitch. With a mounting height of 15 meters, the entire pitch is evenly illuminated. In addition, the floodlight is completely flicker-free and provides glare-free, pleasant light on the pitch. The LED floodlights are of the highest quality and, in addition to their durability, also impress with their high energy and cost efficiency. The ATSV HandyShop.at Schärding has thus made an important investment in terms of sustainability and for the future and success of the club.
